Retired Biochemistry Professor Derek Cash passes away in Cambridge, England

The department would like to announce the sad news that retired Biochemistry professor Derek Cash died in Cambridge, England today. Dr. Cash retired from the University in 2000 and returned to his homeland of England. He had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, but it had spread to other tissues at the time of the diagnosis.
