Professors Michael Petris and Gary Weisman have been named chairs in upcoming lectures hosted by Gordon Research Conferences. Gordon Research Conferences organizes over 365 conferences per year around the world for the advancement of research in biological, chemical and physical sciences. Each conference is capped at 200 attendees chosen by the chair of the conference.
Weisman is serving as the chair of the Salivary Glands and Exocrine Biology conference, "Understanding Development, Function and Regeneration of Secretory Tissues: Novel Signaling Pathways and Approaches to Treat Exocrine Disorders." The conference will take place Feb. 19 to 24 in Galveston, Texas. Petris is serving as the chair of the Cell Biology of Metals conference, "Metals in Physiology and Disease." This conference will take place July 23 to 28 in West Dover, Vermont.
